With years of experience building websites, integrating APIs, and designing systems, Alexandra Rook is a full-stack developer who is a passionate about software design and helping people. She looks forward to learning new things and tackling challenging problems. At present, she works at Mixpanel as a Support Engineer.

When she's not developing or learning, Ali reads and writes at any chance she gets. She has worked as a freelance beta reader, developmental editor, and copy editor. As an author, she's writing queer stories about magic and community. She particularly enjoys the work of Maggie Stievfater (The Raven Cycle, The Dreamer Trilogy) and Leigh Bardugo (Ninth House, Grishaverse).

Ali makes her home in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado, as well as in various places online under the alias Magpie.
